This handcrafted wood jewelry box, dream box, or small treasures box is made out of Northern California Redwood in our little father and daughter wood shop. Our redwood boxes can be used for anything you'd like: coins, jewelry, mementos, or memories, but have also been used for a small portion of a loved one's ashes so each family member can keep a piece of a loved one with them.
Exterior Dimensions with lid on is approximately 6" x 3.25" at widest point and about 3" thick. Inner Area Dimensions are approximately 5" x 2.5" x 2.25" deep. The lid sits into the box so the usable storage portion is approximately 2" deep.
Our wood boxes can vary slightly in small natural cracks, dings, knots, grain, coloring, character, etc. These photos are good general representation of what you will receive.
These redwood storage boxes are lightly sealed with a clear finish which helps helps the natural wood colors really shine through. No dyes or stains have been used.
Boxes have small circles of cork to help protect surfaces they may be set on. Please note that redwood is a soft wood so these box can develop more character dings, marks, etc. over time depending on how they are handled.
